MoP In Action (Messengers of Peace Network in Malaysia)

Malaysian scouts had been motivated to promote Messengers of Peace (MoP) and actively contribute in the activities. In 3 years times, there are 753 MoP coordinators from all the states in Malaysia been assigned to promote MoP in their own state. In order to sustain a quality MoP training system in Malaysia, a training module had been produce to help the coordinator in doing their responsibilities. The module specialist in MoP networking developing in Malaysia. As a result, there were more than 40 local MoP coordinators training and MoP activities been held by the local coordinators such as Peace Day Camp, Peace Run, Climbaton and Go Solar campaign. Most of the activities involved close partnership with the department of education, various non-government and civic group based on the need of the project and activities. They successfully draw the attention from the cub scouts, scouts, senior scouts, rovers, young adults and leaders in Malaysia to involve in the project and activities. They joined Jamboree, Seminar-Workshop, Tree planting, and community services and so on. There were 1600 of them actively contribute total of 10,521,600 service hours in 3 years’ time that actually successfully make Malaysia the Top 5 NSO among the Asia-Pacific Region countries. This had been a satisfaction and rewards for them to continue their hard work both on land and internet. Besides, moral value had strongly implanted in their life that actually make a different in the scouting lives. Almost all the time we try to achieve successful for Create a better world concept, Sustainable Development Goals and Better World Framework ideas.
