The World Organization of the Scout Movement organised a three (3) Day Induction training/workshop programme for the National Board Members and National Commissioner Committee of the Scout Association of Nigeria. 

The training workshop  was held between Tuesday 15th - Thursday 17th January, 2019 and was specifically designed to update members of the National Board and National Commissioners of the Scout Association of Nigeria.

The objective of the workshop centered on discussing and highlighting issues related to governance and management of the NSO. 

It was designed that result of the workshop/meeting the NEC/Board members will be able to:
•    Discuss, recommend structures that are suitable for the NSO
•    Identify functions of the main NSO structures
•    Develop job descriptions for identified positions
•    Agree on the working methods including coordination of the main structures
•    Discuss GSAT standard
•    Develop NSO action plan
•    Discuss financial management and mobilization
•    Identify communication methods
