Mini Amazing Race in conjuction with Scout of the World Award (SWA)
The Scouts of the World Award challenges all young people aged 15 to 26 years old, Scouts and non-Scouts, to think about the global issues they value and act upon them in their local community. The projects are led in three main fields of action: Development, Peace, and the Environment.
The project is conducted by 4 SWA members (rovers). The project is started by a warm up session and a short hike for 30 mins. The hike is continued with games like morse code, place hunting, reflexology and yoga. the Final game is the main focus of the project which is nametag ripping where we get the idea from 'Running Man korea reality tv show".
The objective(s) of this project is:
-To encourage your stronger involvement in the development of society by giving you the knowledge, skills, motivation, and opportunities to face today’s global challenges.
-To recognise and promote your voluntary service project in the fields of development, peace, and the environment. These take the form of long-term development projects (with a long-term vision) run individually or by a team.
-To encourage National Scout Organizations (NSOs) to develop more educational opportunities to become world citizens. These initiatives will open up new fields of action and provide genuine responsibility, through partnerships with other key players in civil society. They will reinforce community service and international cooperation.
-To complete Scout of the World Award Voluntary Service (a minimum of 80 working hours)
