International Day of Peace

On 21st September, Bartsham Scout Association celebrated International Peace Day with speech on the theme "Right to peace-The Universal Declaration of Human Rights at 70" by Scout Master Dechen Tshomo during the morning assembly.
Later at afternoon, after the school hour 58 scouts and 6 Scout Masters went for clearing the bushes and caring the "Thujia" saplings (which was planted by Gewog Forestry Department but was not attained) along the School-Trashyang road. Total of 86 saplings were cared.
in the back journey, we picked waste thrown along the roadside. The program ended with dancing few scouting dances and "Cham chama cham".
