Ready for Summer at the World Scout Centre
Welcome to Summer 2018 at Kandersteg International Scout Centre.
The time has come and we have fully started into our busy Summer season.
In the past months programme bookings have been processed, meal plans prepared, and the campsite groomed for the exciting weeks ahead of us! We are excited to welcome over 10'000 Guests from over 50+ Countries this Summer at the Permanent Mini Jamboree in the next nine weeks.
In these upcoming weeks, Lord Baden-Powell's dream of a place to meet and have space to learn from each other and live together truly comes alive. The Pinkies are ready to welcome you.
But, what does a stay this Summer at the Permanent Mini Jamboree all entitle?
Every Scouts' stay at KISC will be unique and will bring memories for a lifetime. One group of Scouts might go hiking to enjoy the stunning views of the Swiss Alps, whilst the others are enjoying the day at the local swimming pool and having some ice cream. White water rafting, climbing or challenging yourself in the low ropes course will be just some of the High Adventure activities this summer. Though, this Summer KISC is much more than just High Adventures; it is about the friendships you make and the memories you will share from this Summer.
When in the evening, the Scouts from all over the world join together for one of our weekly activities such as the "Race the World" or at KISC's very own "KanderChallenge" the magic of Kandersteg comes alive. As the highlight of each week, over 1000 Scouts come together and hold the truly magical International Campfire where groups share their favourite songs, plays or cheers.
Are you as excited about Summer as we, the Pinkies, are?
The Pinkies are looking forward to welcome you to the Permanent Mini Jamboree.
