We the scouts of shining star scout troop of St. Sebastian English Medium School Permannur we are writing the work the 6 month comunity development project under that 1.cobalt hiv/aids,malaria etc 2. women empowerment and gender equality.
We would like about the work which we done.
Cobalt hiv /aids and Malaria :human immunodeficiencyvirus infection and acquired immune deficiencysyndrome [hiv/aids]is a spectrum of conditions caused by infection with the hiv. following initial infection, a person may not notice any symptoms or may experience a brief period of influenze-like illness. Typically, this is followed by a prolonged period with no symptoms. As the infection progresses, it interfers more with the immune system, increaseing the risk of developing common infections like tuberculisis, as well as other oppertunistic infections, and tumors that rarely affect people who have working immune systems.
Malaria:Malaria is a communicable disease which has been plaging our country from many years.This disease is mostly seen during the months may to september .
Tuberculosis:Tuberculosis is a communicable disease and it affects the orgon of the respiratory system.Sometimes it also affects other orgons.
Women empowerment and promoting gender equality:The topic "Women empowerment" is a burning issue all over the world. "women empowerment" and "women equality" with men is a universal issue.
women empowerment refers to the creation of an environment for women where they can make decision of their personal benifits as for the society women empowerment refers to increasing and improving the social, economic political and legal stregth of the women, to ensumethe legal rights to women, and to make them confident enough to claim their rights.
Gender equality:gender equality is one of the issue in India. Which has remainded unsolved. This is because our ancesstrol society was a male dominating society. This dosen't mean that women were not given nights in olden days. It is the state of equal case of acess to resources and oppertunities regardless of gender including economic participation and decision making and the state of valuing different behaviours.
