Clean India Mission- @ GSSS Anni

Swachh Bharat Mission is Prime Minister Narendra Modi's pet project that seeks to create a 'Clean India' Mission on the birth anniversary of Mahatma Gandhi. Mr. Modi had urged citizens, government institutions to dedicate 100 hours every year towards cleanliness. In his message, he writes, "On 2nd October we are launching Swachh Bharat Mission, a massive mass movement that seeks to create a Clean India. Cleanliness was very close to Mahatma Gandhi's heart. A clean India is the best tribute we can pay to Bapu when we celebrate his 150th birth anniversary in 2019."

We as a Scout are doing it for years in past, are doing it now and will do it in future. The Scouts and Guides of GSSS Anni along with other students and staff members cleaned the school and surroundings after taking the oath. This time- No procession, No placards, just real work. The students left no stone unturned to make India Clean. The area was never clean like this before.

Happy to be a part of the mission.
