Child protection and Participation training

50 children were trained on the child protection and participation. The training touched on various topic like defining and understanding a child, reflecting upon their childhood experiences, knowing their rights and responsibilities, UN conventional right of children, Child Care and Welfare Commission- laws and legislation of Bhutan, child protection concerns, violence against children, challenges and barriers in exercising the child protection, intervention means and measures, development of personal safety network etc...
The training is intended to create advocates or agents in the community who would deal with child protection and participation concerns. Further more, through the training we are empowering the children and making them responsible for their own self and the community around.
