Green Initiative -Tree Plantation to Save Earth to Save Mankind

Government of Maharashtra organised a week wide Tree Plantation program aiming at plantation of 4 crore saplings through which we can reduce the pollution, by creating more pollution sinks which India ratified in Paris Agreement at COP 21 summit. Sir Homi Bhabha scout troop of Sardar Dastur Hoshang Boys High School Pune Maharashtra India also participating the Green Initiatives of government through Green army initiative. Deforestation is major issue for rise of Green House gases which is leading to Global Warming and finally yielding into Climate Change on earth which will bring havoc on earth in immediate future of mankind. So plantation and conservation of trees is need of the hour. For that I appeal to mankind of whole world that "Let us come together and share the Responsibility through various Green Initiatives and Save our mother Earth. Sir Homi Bhabha Scout troop visited the Velu village District Pune State Maharashtra India on 4th July 2017. 50 Scouts and 3 Scouters participated in this tree plantation drive from 9 am to 3 pm. 53 x 6 Hours of service = 318 hours for the service to revive mother earth.
