The World Organization of the Scout Movement (WOSM) is very happy to announce its candidate running for a second mandate in the Board of the European Youth Forum and keeping up the good work done for youth organisations:
"I am very honoured to be nominated by the World Organization of the Scout Movement (WOSM) to continue the contribution to the work achieved in external relations, particularly working together with other European Youth Organisations in the European Youth Forum. With a new political cycle in Europe, after the recent elections in the European Union, it is important to keep our priorities up on the agenda, making sure young people have not only the opportunity but the proper conditions to have a voice and help shape decisions that impact our lives directly.
Youth rights, social inclusion, and a healthy approach to education - one that truly puts the learner in the centre, like Scouting has been doing for more than a century - are among our main challenges for the next two years and those I believe we should put special effort on. These are motivating challenges because they can allow us to literally change the lives of young people throughout Europe - and not just within the EU - and I hope we can work together for that transformation."
