National Training Team - Annual Seminar - 2016, Sri Lanka Scout Association.

As calendared in the year 2016 National Scout Events, National Training Department of Sri Lanka Scout Association, successfully conducted the Annual Seminar of National Training Team, on 12th November 2016 at the Lee Dasanayaka Scout Training Canter –Mirigama with the unique participation of almost 200 NTT Members. The seminar was chaired by Chief Commissioner Emeritus Prof. Nimal De Silva, & the National Training Commissioner Mr. Sarath Godakanda Arachchi , (LT) and his veteran company conducted the programme through the specific areas.

After putting a flower necklace to tribute to Sir BP’s bust statue by Chief Commissioners the seminar proceedings were commenced & In order to that the National Training Commissioner & ADC Cub Scouts were also made their tributes with flowers. National Programee Commissioner Mr. Rohan Wirasekara (LT), Asst. Chief Commissioners as Mr. Damian Silva (LT), Mr. Kapila K. Perera (ALT), Attorney at Law, Mr. S.A. Amarasinghe (LT), Ms. Wathsala Wijewickrama (LT), Mr. Srilath De Silva (ALT) were also participated at this conventional event of National Trainers, with the representations of their prestigious sections. The Seminar aimed to gather the entire members of the National Training Team (LT,CLT,ALT,CALT’s), in order to update, align, & understand concepts , regulations and practices in the conduct of Scout Masters ( Adults in Scouting) training courses; get know , have fellowship & have healthy exchanges of experiences in the conduct of training in order to contextualize training in every district of our country; and to foster unity , camaraderie & brotherhood among members of the National Training Team & to discuss the future direction of the conduct of Training Courses in Our NSO. .
