Helping Others (Fulfilling our Scout Promise )

In April 2016, 20 volunteers of Soma Hellinon Proskopon - Boy Scouts of Eastern Crete (15 adults & 5 Rovers) spent 3 days in Ellinikon Athens Hot Spot, working and helping in the best possible way the refugees that live in that place.

The volunteers served food and other essential products (like soap, shampoo, shaving kits, toothpastes, toothbrushes etc), played with the children of the refugees and also helped in the sorting of clothing, shoes, medicines etc.

An experience which helped us to value more everything that we have in our lives and remind us how lucky we are but also an experience which gave us the opportunity to fulfill our Scout Promise to help other people under all circumstances.
