Afghan Scouts distribute winter clothes to underprivileged families

A group of 56 Afghan Scouts continue their community service by distributing winter clothes to around 250 needy families living in an immigrant city in Ghor Province located in western Afghanistan. With the city’s over 600 thousand population, around 1,600 families are underprivileged.

This project is under the PARSA Afghan Scouts Program which has 1,500 active Scouts (male and female) in nine provinces of Afghanistan. Part of their program this year are peace building activities with corresponding achievement badges: Peace in the Family, Peace in the School, Peace in Community, Peace in Afghanistan and Messengers of Peace.
