Adultos en el Movimiento Scout en la Región Interamericana

The plan of action for the adult area emanated from the 5th Strategic Priority of the Scout Movement (Volunteers in Scouting), reaffirmed at the 39th World Scout Conference, which aimed at redefining the concept of volunteering as applied to Scouting and reviewing policies and practices to help National Scout Organizations (NSOs) recruit and retain a new group of adults in Scouting.
In that regard, the last Inter-American Scout Conference adopted as the general objective of the plan for the management of adults "having active, motivated, committed, trained and competent volunteers for the task".
This, no doubt, emphasizes the different stages in the life cycle of an adult in the movement, from acquisition, followed by training and culminating with the evaluation and follow-up. And of course, with a clear focus on establishing or substantially improving ways of retaining adults.
