Subregional Meetings of the Argentinian and Venezuelan Adults Network

Between April 27 - 29 and May 18 - 20 were held the subregional meetings of the Adult Network of the Interamerican Region, in Venezuela and Argentina, respectively.

By this way, 7 of the 10 NSOs belonging to the Andean and Southern Cone subregions were present and a total of 17 adults collectively discussed and built about the proposed policy "The Adults We Need", principles and essentials competencies, and clarified key concepts within the System of Adult Management. The spaces also served to define the importance of Conflict Resolution as core competence of the adults in Scouting.
"It was a very good forum for discussion and sharing experiences, helping to trigger actions at national level," said one participant after the meeting. "The information of the networks is excellent and we hope to participate widely in it, to take advantage of the learning," noted, in turn, another participant, referring to the importance of the Virtual Network that has been implemented on the Global Support Portal.
