Subregional Meeting of the Adults in Scouting Network of the Interamerican Region in the Caribbean

During June 23-25 was held the subregional meeting of the Adults in Scouting Network of the Interamerican Region, in Arima (Trinidad & Tobago).

16 adults of 7 NSOs belonging to the Caribbean subregion attended the event and worked on the World Policy and the Life Cycle of an adult in the Movement. They also collectively discussed principles and core competencies for the proposed regional policy "The Adults We Need”, and clarified key concepts within the System of Adult Management.
The meeting also served to highlight the importance of Conflict Resolution as core competency of the adults in Scouting and to introduce the Global Support Gateway as key factor for networking.
"This meeting was above my expectations. We can have more in the future.”, stated one of the participants during the final evaluation.
