259 Cubs receive award

The Prime Minister of Bangladesh, Her Excellency Sheikh Hasina presented the Cub Scout Award to 259 young Scouts at her official office in Dhaka on 3rd November 2013. Called the ‘Shapla Cub Award 2012,’ it is the highest Cub Award of Bangladesh Scouts.

On this occasion, the Prime Minister addressed a large gathering of Scouts and leaders. She said that the government of Bangladesh is exerting its best efforts to support Scouting. Today, many projects on infrastructure development are being developed that Scouts will surely benefit.

Bangladesh Scouts President Md. Abdul Karim, Chief National Commissioner of Bangladesh Scouts Md. Abul Kalam Azad and National commissioner (programme) Mesbah Uddin were among the leaders who spoke on this occasion.

This encourages me more to be a better rover scout in our country .. that even if we are women .. we can be as responsible as others ... hope our brotherhood will be widespread :D
