2016 CONGRATULATORY MESSAGE FROM THE SCOUT ASSOCIATION OF NIGERIA LEADERSHIP

NSO COMMUNICATION: NEW YEAR CONGRATULATORY MESSAGE FROM THE SCOUTING LEADERSHIP IN NIGERIA.

Let me on behalf of the Scouting Leadership in Nigeria, The National Scout Patron, His Excellency, Muhammadu Buhari – GCFR, President and Commander-in-Chief of the Nigeria, Armed Forces, The Chief Scout of Nigeria, Engr. Ahmadu Rufai Mohammed-MON, The National Board of Trustees and the entire Scouting family in Nigeria wish you Happy, Eid-el-Maulud, Merry Christmas and Happy New year.

While we continue to journey into the New Year, you will notice that; this festival period is unique. Unique in the sense that; this would be one of such time that; the Birth of Jesus Christ our Lord and our Great Prophet Mohammad (S.A.W) coincided to the same period. This goes a long way to show that; both Christians and Muslims are brothers and sisters, serve the same God that our Muslim faithful call Allah and Scouting equally supported this, based on her Principles and tenets that are without discrimination of Race, Colour, Religion, Class or Creed as equally buttressed in our Law Four (4).

Once again, further communications will be raised on each and every program that will be executed, as there could be modifications as we progress within the year; however, please take this as provisional plans for the NSO at 2016. Supports of all the National Scout Council and National Scout Committee members will be required in support of these programs.

Again, let me appreciate the support of all the Scouting family for their supports towards achieving the successes so far and to wish them more supports in the current year.

Good Hunting, and Good Scouting,

Long Live The Scout Association of Nigeria,

Long Live Federal Republic of Nigeria.

Very truly yours in Scouting,
