Project "SAMARTH"- Part - V (Collecting donations and clothes by R/R Unit for "Mothers Home")

In continuation of Project SAMARTH Part-V
For collecting the donation in college 3 sealed (with the signature of group leader) mettle boxes were made and R/R unit started collecting donations in and around the college campus.Rovers and Rangers unit of the college with its Group Leader Dr. P.P.Kaistha,Rover Leader Jyoti Charan and Ranger Leader Kavita Katoch were busy apx. 36 days (From 22 Sept to 27 Oct) to collect the clothes/money from relatives and from other known persons for Mothers Home. In a day every R/R spent 2 hours in college and 2 hours at their home/villages to collect the donations/clothes which means every R/R given 4 hours in a day in this sweet work for 36 days continuously (Total 43).
All this work of collecting money & clothes was under the supervision/inspection (such as counting the money or storing the clothes etc.) of group leader Dr. P.P.Kaistha. Till 27 Oct 2015 we collected 14,000 rupees from which a sum of Rs 3902 paint was purchased to paint the Mothers Home. On other hand all R/R did great work to collect the clothes ( T-shirts, pants, school shoes, blankets, shirts ,sweaters, school bags etc.) in these 36 days. Even Group leader,Rover Leader and Ranger leader were also same busy in these 36 days for the same work. Finally all these things were handed over to the care taker of Mothers Home.
