Plantation 17 Aug 2015

On dated 17 Aug. 2015 The students and the Rovers & Rangers of Jawaharlal Nehru Govt. College reached early morning at 9:30 at Jagatsukh for plantation. The college students and the Rovers & Rangers of the college had planted 2400 trees behind the S.S.S. Jagatsukh under the inspection of Group leader Dr. P.P.Kaistha, Rover Leader Jyoti Charan and Ranger Leader Kavita Katoch. The venue was decided by the district administration and the whole plantation was under the supervision of the district session judge. The forest department supplied the trees of Deodars. Whole area was devided into 4 parts and the Rovers and Rangers were distributed in each section to see and check the entire plantation as well as to plantation also and rest of the students of the college and school were planting under their direction or the area/site they were guiding them. The small and tender force of school had also joined the hands. This event started at 9:30 AM and closed at 4:30 PM and the total strength were 300. It was really a great day for us and a small step towards saving our environment and earth.
