Online contingent registration form for the upcoming 8th Africa Scout Jamboree to be held from 3 – 12 August 2020 in Kampala, Uganda is now open and can be accessed at www.tinyurl.com/8asj2020-registration. This form should be completed by the designated National Scout Organisation (NSO) Head of Contingent (HoC) Only and is not for individual participants.

NSOs that are members of WOSM and wish to send Scout participants, members of the International Service Team (IST) or guests and partners are asked to submit their registration not later than Saturday, 29 February 2020.

The process is simple and takes about three minutes to complete. The form captures NSO contingent information and participants information. To complete the registration process, the HoC will be required to download from www.scout.org/8ASJ2020 and fill into an Excel Sheet the list of members with all their details and submit to scouts@ugandascouts.org with a copy to africa@scout.org before 30 March 2020.

Upon submission of the registration, you will be provided with an invoice for the total jamboree fees due for payment. The jamboree registration fee is Seventy Dollars (USD 70) for countries in categories A and B and One Hundred and Twenty (USD 120) for countries in categories C and D.

All monies should be paid in US Dollars only into the following account:

Your participation will only be fully confirmed upon payment of the requisite participation fees for each participant, IST and guest listed.

Heads of Contingents are also notified that there will be a Heads of Contingents Meeting during the Africa Scout Day celebrations between 13-16 March 2020 at Kaazi National Scout Camping and Training Centre in Kampala, Uganda and are kindly asked to plan to attend.
