The triennium has recorded tremendous strides in growth and development of Scouting in the Africa Region. With the passing of the triennium plan 2015- 2018 at the 16th Africa Scout conference held in Kampala, Uganda, the strategic priority areas spelt out in the plan have served as an anchor to our activities and interventions.

Learn how to improve to be a better organisation and how to survive in the 21st century. Society is changing. People now expect to be consulted and involved in decisions that affect them; they expect to have access to information; and they expect organisations to respond quickly and efficiently to their needs. For organisations to be effective, they need to continue to change and have structures and processes in place to support that change.

General Information on JOTA-JOTI

The JOTA-JOTI selected theme for 2018 is Life on Land — United Nations Sustainable Development Goal 15. It is defined as: Protect, restore, and promote sustainable use of terrestrial ecosystems, sustainably manage forests, combat desertification, and halt and reverse land degradation and halt biodiversity loss.
