Lourd Ian Francis is among the Ten Outstanding Boy Scouts (TOBS) of the Boy Scouts of the Philippines - Manila Council in 2015. He is also a two-time Regional Level certified journalist, 2018 Teodoro Valencia Awardee for Journalism, a former Sports Journalist and Editor-in-Chief of The Ladder (LES).

During his years in the prestigious Legarda Elementary School, he was elected as the President of the Supreme Pupil Government (LES-SPG) and the Philippine Red Cross - LES Chapter for the year 2017-2018. He also actively served in the Young Men's Christian Association (YMCA) and Young Women's Christian Association (YWCA) as a Student Volunteer for 4 years.

Currently, he serves as the Council Scout Representative of Boy Scouts of the Philippines - Manila Council of Batch 2020-2021 and a Youth Advocate for the Youth Advocates for the Philippines. Lourd Ian Francis is an upcoming Grade 9 honor student at the University of the East, where he is also a member of various academic clubs.

As a Scout, he aims to be the first Gold Anahaw Awardee of UE-BSP Outfit 1331 and the next Filipino awardee of the Bronze Wolf Award.

He wishes to continue his journey and study in the De La Salle University for his Senior High School and soon, in the Universiy of the Philippines for College.
