MoP builds capacity in promoting Messenger of Peace India

Twenty eight young scout leaders representing 21 state associations gathered at the National Headquarters, in New Delhi, for the “Team India - Messenger of Peace Gathering" from 25th to 29th September 2013. These leaders are well-oriented and equipped with hands-on training on promoting network and project management. In returning to their states, they will be the MoP coordinators towards inspiring young people and promoting peace actions.

National Commissioner Mr. L. M. Jain and Regional Director J. R. C. Pangilinan opened the gathering. APR Director for Development Support and Finance S. Prassanna Shrivastava and WSB Global Projects Manager Ms Cynthia Marquez served as resource persons.

MoP (Indonesia) Coordinator Venny Indri-Christiyanti and National Rover Council member Nur Indah Lestari helped facilitated the groups with other local key leaders. BS&G Director S.S Chamoli was the gathering director and NSO MoP Coordinator Krishnaswamy Rammoorthy coordinated the event.
