World Hindi Conference

Regional Hindi conference was organized by Indian High commission and Ministry fo Education for educators interested in Hindi and its development.

With the Hindi day starting at 10th January the preparation continued till the final day the event took place. There were deliberations in different parts of Fiji till the conference. There were close to 25 speakers who took there sessions followed by the discussion that we took part in. We also gave our submissions for the betterment of Hindi langauge and ways in which we could preserve. Also discussions were done with regards to Fiji-Hindi and how it has come about as peoples understanding.

We were assured that the suggestions will be put forward to parliment sitting so that these misunderstanding between Hindi and Fiji-Hindi dialect does not affect students taking Hindi in schools.
