Our Jota Joti event is held in the Tengku Ampuan Afzan Teachers' Training Institute in Kuala Lipis, Pahang.

This year we have participants from various teachers' training colleges in Malaysia, notable IPGKDRI and IPGKT, primary schools and secondary schools around lipis.

We manage to establish connections through Skype with scout groups from Japan, Indonesia, South Africa, the Phillipenes, the UAE and Taiwan just to name a few. On ham radio, connections are established with ametur radio stations around Malaysia and Indonesia.

Besides communications, a few stations are also set up for participants to enter. Amongst are learning morse code, semaphore alphabet, archary and the international phonetic code.
