Make It Clean Our Community (Matto, Japan)

The Matto Group 1 cleaned the area around Matto Castle Park, Matto Railway Station, and Matto Library with the local community groups, Matto Lions Club and Hakusan Youth Chamber of Commerce on September 1, 2019.

The "Scouting Day" in Japan is the 3rd Monday of September every year.  And, around that time, scouts from all over the country will make their community services into practice.  It was proposed as the "Scouting Service Day" back in 1974, and, ever since, scouts have contributed the service activity in every region of Japan.
