This event runs from 15 June to 18 June 2023. It aims to gather key people from big youth organisations to seek opportunities to establish a collaborative, multi-stakeholder project among the young people of their organisations on the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) through (1) developing competencies to contribute in resolving issues at various local and global committees; and (2) explore strategies on how young people can work together. This also highlights the work of WOSM Asia-Pacific Region in its strategic priority of Youth Engagement.

Moreover, Alhendawi expressed hope that this Summit would champion the need for getting the job done for the SDGs and challenged everyone to connect with their local partners to carry out collaboration. Highlighting the need to collaborate, he said, “Nobody can do everything, but everybody can do something,” and through this Summit, everyone is offered opportunities to do something in empowering more young people at all levels of society.
