Offering wheelchairs to paraplegic persons

An excellent idea, implemented by the cub scouts, the scouts and the ventures of the city of Pyrgos (Peloponnese, Greece) resulted in the donation of a wheelchair to the association of the paraplegic persons.
Since five months, the scouts were gathering plastic caps. They collected caps from their homes, from the cantinas of their schools, from wherever they could find plastic bottles and plastic cups.
More than 1.500.000 cups, weighting about 2.500 kilograms were gathered and forwarded for recycling and the product was one wheelchair witch was offered to a paraplegic young person.
During the “ceremony” for the delivery of this 1st wheelchair to the Association of the Paraplegic and with Kinetic Disabilities Persons , the scouts created an impressive mosaic and they declared their solidarity to the disabled persons. “ Access to the streets - access to the Life”
