Exploring Peace Phase II -MoP Local Coordinators Training, Nepal

From may 11 to 20 2018, 150 Young and energetic leaders from 7 different province of Nepal, Gathered in Kakani to Explore the Peace. The exploring peace project started in 2017 with its first phase, and the MoP local coordinators training is second phase of the project, which is more focused on grass root level. The 3 nights 4 days Training was leaded by Mr.Ram Prasad Bhattarai (MoP NSO coordinator) with the help of internal facilitator. The participants were able to learn the information of MoP and its Module, Networking and Fund. The Participants also ran a field visit Model as practical activities to Explore the peace within young people and their local communities. The Participants were also made an action plan to explore the peace on their local area for next One and half year.
The impact of this project is already starts, the 150 participants already started sharing their stories in scout.org as project. and also the number of the register user is growing everyday. Because of the project now Nepal Scouts have strong MoP Team with 192 local coordinators. Nepal Scouts believes that this team will definitely can create impact in the communities to build the peace culture and at the same time to expand scouting. The total 11days Training was divided into 3 different group.
