When Darkness is safer for the world

To enable the partnership between WWF and WOSM for Earth Hour , The team of World Scout Environment Programme - Egypt , with the support of the arab scout region , has organized a full day of activities and sessions about environmental awareness and issues as a celebration of Earth Hour 2018 .These sessions and activities were introduced by the national team of WSEP, ministry of environment in Egypt , Salah Eldin Foundation for development and Ein Elbeea association. The main topics during the day were: ( Carbon footprint - climate change - SDGs - Clean water - Renewable energy - WSEP educational framework ). The Partners admired how scouts are actively engaged with these topics and they are looking forward to having a future partnerships with scouts of Egypt.
In the end , The view of the 350 participants holding candles and lanterns during Earth Hour was absolutely amazing.
