National Scouts day celebration on founder’s birthday

1500 Cubs, Scouts, Rovers & Community Based Scouts participated in the national Scouts day celebrations.

Bhutan Scouts Association organized the day in collaboration with the district administration for the celebration.

100 civil servants of the District, 80 teachers and parents participated in the event.

A total of 2000 participants gathered to celebrated the day.

Monks, farmers and local government leaders also participated in the program.

Scouts performed numerous songs and dances for the public. Monks performed sacred and religious mask dances for the public. MoP session was conducted for the people to help them understand about MoP initiative and encourage them to create accounts in Scout.org.

Scout exhibition was held for the public to know more about scouting in Bhutan.

The day was celebrated in traditional Bhutanese tradition and custom.
