1st Eurasia Educational Forum
These days, 28-29 April, in Astana, Kazakhstan takes place the 1st Eurasia Educational Forum with the theme “Non-formal education of young people”. The Forum gathered more than 150 representatives from 16 countries: beside representatives of the NSOs and Eurasia region trainers, in the Forum participate representatives of government structures and education system institutions, deputies of Parliament and representatives of embassies of member countries.
The purpose of the Educational Forum is to present role and importance of non-formal education in today’s changing world, and to ensure the basis of partnerships between formal and non-formal education actors.
The Forum was lucky to have among its speakers important names from World Scouting and non-formal education area, such as: Mari Nakano (World Scout Committee member), Luc Panissod (ex-Secretary General) and Dominique Benard (international trainer).
The Forum is organized in partnership with the Ministry of Education and Science from Kazakhstan and the Library of the First President of Republic of Kazakhstan “The Leader of the Nation”.
