Training in Youth Programme in El Salvador
The Scout Association of El Salvador, continues to develop actions to boost the growth of the ventures and rovers sections in the country.
From August 3rd to 5, was the preliminary course for leaders of these units, together with the preliminary Institutional Development course and the Basic General course, taking “El Corralito” complex, close to the city of San Salvador, as headquarters, with the participation of 84 leaders (41 ventures leaders and 43 rovers leaders).
To strengthen partnerships between the associations of the Inter-American Region, highlights the presence of 7 leaders of the Scout Association of Guatemala (director of educational methods, national events commissioner, expansion executives and unit leaders), as well as 12 representatives of the Scout Association of Honduras (national treasurer, director of adult training, youth programme director, scouts leaders). Mauricio Veayra, director of Youth Programme from the World Scout Bureau, Interamerican Region, coordinated the course for ventures leaders, while Efraim Acosta, from the Scout Association of Mexico, was responsible for the course for rovers leaders.
