As a non-profit voluntary organization of Eagle Scouts in Batangas city, A-BLADES mold scouts into good citizens by engaging the youth into religious activities. A-BLADES conducted a Station of the Cross & Hiking/Swimming Activity at the National Arts Center (NAC), Mt. Makiling, Los Bańos, Laguna last Holy Monday, March 30, 2015.

The group left Batangas City at six o’clock In the morning. 124 participants of the activity are from both public and private high schools. Private school representatives are from Casa del Bambino Emmanuel Montessori have 4 scouts and 1 adult, 18 scouts and 1 adult for the Marian Learning Center and Science High School, 8 scouts from Saint Bridget College, 10 scouts and 2 adults from Batangas State University and 1 scout from the University of Batangas. Participants from public schools are represented by 6 scouts and 1 adult fromBanaba West National High School, 49 scouts and 4 adults from Batangas National High School and 7 scouts from Paharang National High School. 13 College Eagle Scouts, 2 Professional Eagle Scouts, the Chairman and 2 personnel from the Philippine Red Cross – Batangas City also joined the pack.

The Pilgrimage was in a form of a hiking station and each station is divided into the 15 Stations of the Cross. Prayers and intentions were read for each and every station. The last station is situated at the National Arts Center where photos of the group were taken.

And to top up the trip, after going down the peak, the group enjoyed the swimming activity at the BSP pool. The group took the opportunity to tighten the bond between scouts of different institutions.
