Pope Benedict XVI addresses Scouts

Pope Benedict XVI spoke about the Centenary of Scouting in his service on Sunday at the Vatican in Rome as the Scout and Guide Spirit Flame passed through the Italian capital. Addressing the crowd of thousands in St. Peter's square, the Pope mentioned the Jamboree at Hylands Park and acknowledged the Scouts and Guides that were “carrying the Flame through the city on its way to the United Kingdom on the occasion of the Centenary of the founding of Scouting.”
