APR staff take practical training in disaster preparedness and response

Staff members of the Asia-Pacific Support Centre are fully geared to take on disaster preparedness and risk reduction management  at their recent training along the coastlines of Romblon Province, Philippines.  Regional Director J Rizal Pangilinan and Course Leader Broderick Train of Boy Scouts of the Philippines re-emphasised the importance of disaster preparation and mitigation, response, rehabilitation and recovery.

Trainers of BSP facilitated the sessions on First Aid, Bandaging and Transport, Water Rescue and Hiking.
