Karim is an active entrepreneur who loves field work & believes in the power of youth.
Through being a Sea Scout at an early age, he learned that by helping others & being part of a team makes a difference in this world; that’s why ever since he started medical school, he has been a member in various organizations & NGOs aiming to make his community a better place.
He has been a board member for the local hub of the International Federation of Medical Students, a Rotaractor, a core team member of Cross World Challenges & a Scout leader.
While working on his career to become a medical professional, he has worked on several projects & several jobs which gave him some experience to be shared with the youth in order to help them excel in their paths. That’s why he created the Scouts Leadership Academy in Alexandria back in 2016, to help the youth learn about leadership, team building, strategic planning, organizational management & sustainable development goals.
Since he has a passion for training, he is the co-founder of a company called “OutDoor - Excel with Adventure” working with schools to help them set adventurous programs to help youngsters develop their skills & spend more time in the outdoors instead of the classrooms; he is also now a part of a training company called “Aspire- Training Solutions” working on an USAID program aiming to establish career development centers in the public universities all over Egypt.
As we speak, he is a board member of the Egyptian Sea Scouts in Alexandria, Youth Committee Chair for Rotary Club Alexandria Cosmopolitan, Global Shapers Alumni, UPG sustainability leaders & deputy training commissioner for Scouts & Guides Wadi El-Nil.
