About
Josh is a 20 Year Veteran Scouter of the Boy Scouts of America. He entered Cub Scouts as a Bobcat and earned his Eagle Scout award in 2004 with 57 merit badges. In 2002 he became a Brotherhood member of the Nawakwa Lodge No. 3, the second oldest continously operating Lodge within the Order of the Arrow.
His volunteer roles, past and present are many. He has been an Assistant Scoutmaster and Assistant Cubmaster in addition to serving on the Battlefield District Junior Leader Training Staff from 2005 to 2013. He is currently registered with the Mattaponi District, National Capitol Area Council where he serves as Unit Commissioner, and member of the International Committee. He is also a Life Member of the National Eagle Scout Association.
Work in the Nationa's capitol has revitalized his interest in International Scouting and the desire to educate others about the World Brotherhood. He welcomes any opportunity to be involved in International Scouting.
Language is a passion for him as he has taken courses in Russian, Italian, and Latin. He is an intermediate speaker of Spanish with translation/interpretation experience. He earned his Spanish interpreter strip in 2002, and is working to add the Italian, Portuguese, and Russian interpreter strips as well.
