Peace, what we make of it
Peace, what we make of it. Aiming to facilitate a safe and pleasant school life and Scout activities among youths in Korea, this project provides activities to protect our scouts from school violence and negligence accidents and to present instructions on how for them to protect themselves.
This is a fair program of the 4th International Patrol Jamboree(IPJ) held in Sangju, Gyeongsangbukdo. Scouts who participated in Jamboree personally joined this program and enjoyed a variety of safety experience programs as well as MoP module. The participants stated that they could receive specific instructions for actions that they would have to take in various accident situations.
In addition, scouts who participated in MoP module activity added that this event was a good opportunity to think out of box and overcome various fixed ideas about peace. Scouts watched videos regarding MoP and draw pictures about their ideas on peace. They also shared good ideas and learned how to cooperate with others through Alele rhythms and network games.
Many partner organizations and leaders who helped us for the Jamboree event urged others to be more cooperative, drawing attention to MoP program. They stated that this would be a good foundation to seek ways to make known MoP programs among youths.
All in KSA will do their best to make MoP known among youths and to make a safe world where all youths, both scouts and non-scouts, can live a happy life.
