WOMEN EMPOWERMENT

Members of the Soroptimist International Sigatoka branch got together and created awareness on women empowerment in Sigatoka Town. The target group was the ladies who were unemployed and staying at home doing domestic duties. These ladies were encouraged to stand for themselves and make a difference in life. They were also encouraged to get involved in community service work. The ladies were encouraged to participate in the upcoming activities such as flower arrangements, clothe bag making and recycled hand bags making. These activities will be organised by the Soroptimist International Sigatoka Branch.
