What we save, save us (How to use recycle items)

Recycling is very important as waste has a huge negative impact on the natural environment. Harmful chemicals and greenhouse gasses are released from rubbish in landfill sites. Recycling helps to reduce the pollution caused by waste. Habitat destruction and global warming are some the effects caused by deforestation. Darkhana Boy Scouts Unit, Karachi Pakistan with Girl Guides under the supervision of Scout Leader Akber Hashmani starting the drive named “What we save, save us” for 5 days in which we taught the young Scouts how to recycle items instead of throwing them away. A total of 30 Boys Scouts and 10 Girls Guide participated in the project and learnt to make different handicraft by recycling items.
