Africa Scout Foundation Launches Junior Membership
Nairobi, Kenya - 30 July 2018: In a bid to tap into the growing interest by young people to be contributors to the Africa Scout Foundation, we are pleased to introduce the Junior Membership Category.
Every Scout from the Age of 18 years to 26 years now has the opportunity to become a member of the Africa Scout Foundation and contribute to the development of Scouting in Africa under any of the following categories:
Junior Bronze: USD 20
Junior Silver: USD 40
Junior Gold: USD 60
Junior Platinum: USD 80
Junior Diamond: USD 100
A joining member is awarded a certificate and a scarf for the category under which they join.
A member can upgrade their membership at any time within the Junior category by topping up their contribution to the next or the preferred category. A Junior Member could also upgrade to the senior membership categories by topping up the required amounts. For example, a Junior Diamond member wishing to join the Bronze Category, needs to top up by USD 150 to become a Bronze member. Senior members are presented with pins and certificates.
