The 11th National Scout Committee meeting of The Scout Association of Nigeria has appointed a trainer emeritus and former SSC of Kwara State.Alhaji Mudasiru Sanni as the new Chief Commissioner Scouts of Nigeria. Alh Sanni took over from olori omoba Soga Sofolahan whose tenure will formally end on 30th Sept 2017. Until his appointment, Alh Sanni is an Assistant Chief Commissioner, Scouting Support and was one time a State Training Commissioner. The Outgoing CC has formally read out his disengagement letter to the Committee at the meeting held in ilorin and latter handed over to Alhaji Sanni by presenting the new CC with the Designed National Flag. The National Scout Committee resolved to present a letter of commendation to the outgoing CC, Olori omoba Soga Sofolahan for his immeasurable contribution and sacrifice to TSAN. The Committee also set up an eleven member committee comprising 6 Youth Advisors and 5 Adults to serve as members of Reconciliation and Restructuring Committee ahead of WOSM engagement with the NSO. This follows Deliberation of Report of WOSM/ARO Meeting with TSAN leader's at the last World Conference in Baku, Azbaijan. The Committee meeting also witnessed the formal presentation of WB, ALT, LT, ADCC, DCC Awards to qualified trainers in the NSO with a call for quality training, programs and activities at the grassroot.
