The COVID-19 pandemic has brought unprecedented challenges for Scouting that all National Scout Organizations (NSOs) are having to navigate. One of the key challenges raised by NSOs is the impact of COVID-19 on the membership retention of both youth and adult volunteers.
La pandémie de COVID-19 a amené son lot d’obstacles pour le Scoutisme, obstacles que toutes les Organisations Scoutes Nationale (OSN) doivent gérer. L’un des défis clés signalé par les OSN est l’impact du COVID-19 sur le maintien des membres, à la fois des jeunes et des bénévoles adultes.
To support NSOs in addressing this daunting challenge WOSM is launching a new series of interactive webinars for National leadership and members of National Adults in Scouting committees which will focus on retention. These webinars will bring together NSOs and feature key partner organisations sharing their approaches to membership retention of youth and adult volunteers through their successful projects or support initiatives. Participants will have the opportunity to interact during the webinars through Q&A to gain clarity on the best practices shared and prepare for action in their own NSOs.
