Membership Report 2011

Supporting Growth in Changing Times
This is the first comprehensive Membership Report of the European Scout Region. The purpose of this report is to give NSOs/NSAs an insight into the membership data of the European Scout Region. The report is based on data the European Scout Region has received from individual NSOs, rather than purely WOSM census figures. Where an NSO has not responded to the request for detailed figures, census figures have been used.

Membership Report 2013

As with the first report published in 2011, the primary purpose of this report is to give NSOs/NSAs an insight into the membership data of the European Scout Region. The findings are based on data the European Scout Region has received from individual NSOs/NSAs, rather than purely WOSM census figures.

Rewarding your Leaders at Camp

Raising awareness of the value of recognising and rewarding Leaders at camps.

Our adult volunteers are an invaluable part of Scouting. They help to realise large-scale events and camps that deliver the Youth Programme. This Euro.Scout.Doc was produced in order to raise awareness of the value of recognising and rewarding volunteers at this kind of event. By providing examples and experiences from events, such as EuroJam 2005 and Roverway 2006, it shows those organising events how to best support and reward Leaders and other volunteers.

Trends in Volunteering

The Adults we Need
Looking at how societies trends affect European Scouting.

Society and trends in an ever-changing world can have a great affect on Scouting. This publication looks at this affect and, in turn, what effect Scouting has as a movement and form of education on society. It is designed to be an aid to National Scout Organisations (NSOs) to help them utilise the changing trends for their benefit.

Action for Growth Report

A resource to enable Scout Associations to develop a growth strategy.

A working document aimed at helping NSAs to develop a growth strategy. It pays attention to the different pillars of Scouting and their importance to the growth of the Movement. It provides detailed explanations, ideas and factsheets, that can be used as tools by NSAs to work with in developing their own, personal plan.

Looking At Quality In Scouting

Looking at the quality in Scouting and whether it offers what it promises to.

The Scout movement promises exciting activities, challenges and fun to its members. But is this what is it providing to the young people of the movement? Often their needs and expectations are not met and so they leave Scouting. This Euro.Scout.Doc takes a look at quality in Scouting and why it is important for us to constantly re-evalutate the service we offer young Scouts to ensure we are meeting their expectations.
