When we see the world as a wonderful place.
I decided to give this name to the introduction I usually write for this newsletter of the Interamerican Scout Region because during these days the idea that there are so many wonderful things happening in the world and yet most of the time we ignore them, came to my mind, preferring to complain about what is happening, achieving in this way passive lives, overshadowed by sadness, always seeing the negative side of everything.
There are so many important and good things that are happening right now around the planet, actions that thousands of human beings who have decided to build a better world are carrying on, and if we would observe them and value them, we would have no reason to believe that life is meaningless and that one day is the same as the other.
It is true that daily we hear or read bad news in which the lowest of human feelings are demonstrated. Abuse of power, dishonesty, intolerance of ideas or beliefs of others, corruption. With this it seems that the world is not a pleasant place to live, that humanity is in decline, but it is not. I lived Every day is a great gift that should be valued...
