Internship opportunities in Asia-Pacific Region

The Asia-Pacific Support Centre invites applications under APR Internship/Executive Attachment Program for the following positions:
 
Support Assistant, to the Asia-Pacific Scout Foundation
 
The successful candidate will support in the AP Scout Foundation Silver Jubilee celebration 2017-  2018. He/She will assist in:
-Developing program concepts
-Designing and implementing fund raising activities;
-Developing and maintaining database program for the Foundation;
-Promotion of the Silver Jubilee Celebration to member National Scout Organizations (NSOs)
 
Expected Profile of the candidate:
-Bachelor’s Degree
-Effective verbal and written communication skills in English
-Good organizational skills.
-Ability of needs analysis, research, writing reports
-Ability to manage data and information.
-Ability to work with professional and volunteer colleagues at all levels of the Movement.
-Good team player
-Previous experience in fund raising is preferred.
 
Support Assistant, Development Support Executive
 
The successful candidate will be tasked to support promotion of:
-Scouting in the South Pacific countries
-The Messengers of Peace (MOP) Initiative
 
Expected Profile of the candidate:
-Bachelor’s Degree
-Effective verbal and written communication skills in English
-Good organizational skills.
-Ability of needs analysis, research, writing reports
-Ability to manage data and information.
-Ability to work with professional and volunteer colleagues at all levels of the Movement.
-Good team player
-Writing reports will be essential in this position
 
All NSO’s are welcome and encouraged to assign a candidate which is subject to APR-NSO sharing of allowance-expense per the Internship/Attachment Guidelines as attached.
 
Local applicants (if from Philippines) will be provided with a monthly allowance of Php12,000.00-Php15,000 net, based on their qualifications.
International applicants will be provided with a monthly allowance of USD300 per month or as per guideline and agreement with respective NSO.
