The 21st World Scout Jamboree brought together some 28,000 young people – girls and boys, aged between 14 and 17 – and 12,000 adult leaders from more than 150 countries. It took place from 27 July to 8 August 2007 at Hylands Park, Chelmsford, 50 kilometres to the north-east of London.
