The 16th World Scout Moot will take place from 18 to 28 July 2022, in Ireland! This will be the first in-person World Scout Event after the COVID-19 pandemic hit the world, and despite of all challenges, Scouting Ireland and the Moot Planning team remains as committed as ever to organize the best and safest Moot experience ever to all. "Let us use the World Scout Moot as a moment of revival and recovery. Let’s do this Le Chéile."

The programme is designed into two key parts: Trails and Basecamp. All participants will be divided in International Tribes, to explore the many wonders of Ireland through different Trails across the country. For the second part, all Tribes will come together to mingle at the campsite in the gardens of Malahide Castle, in Dublin County, for the Basecamp programme.

The theme of the Moot is "Le Chéile" (pronounced leh kay-la) which translates to "together". This theme aims to inspire Rover Scouts around the globe to act together to improve our world and their own local communities. "Show the world what we can do Le Chéile!"

To be an eligible youth participant at the 16th World Scout Moot, you must have been born between 19 July 1995 and the 18 July 2004. If you are older, born on or before 18 July 1995, you can join the International Service Team (IST).
